Lawang Park Street Vendors Controlled

Street vendors who used to sell in Lawang Park, Menteng, Central Jakarta, controlled. The controlling was conducted persuasively thus they would not sell on the location again.

Menteng Urban Village Head, Agus Sulaeman stated, besides ruining the facilities, their existence also makes the area looks dirty.

The street vendors who have been selling in the location since 2010, are planned to be relocated to some points. Including on Jalan Sumenep in guidance market owned by West Jakarta KUMKMP Sub-Department.

"It's been proposed, now it's being reviewed, the relocation place there is more feasible and not ruining the existing facilities," he explained.
